Sony has done as much or more shady crap as anyone. Smoke and mirrors bullsh@t trailers, ridiculous claims about their console, taking away features. The only thing Microsoft messed up on was the reliability of the console in the early days (something Sony messed up on last generation, albeit not to quit the same degree).
Also, if the playstation nation is so much larger then why aren't they buying the damn consoles? The PS3 after almost 4 years is still behind the 360...
It did look really awesome. It's the game I'm most looking forward to on my PS3. That said, I actually thought Rage was more impressive. My jaw nearly hit the floor when I watched the Rage footage. The amount of detail and the smooth frame rate were just incredible.
It's almost hard for me to believe that we are getting games that look as good as Killzone 3 and Rage. In a way, it has surpassed my expections for this generation.

They had nothing that interested me until Killzone 3 comes out next year. That's it. And frankly I am just as excited about Crysis 2 and Rage. That Rage gameplay blew me away with its graphics.
Totally, man. Rage has to be the best looking game I have seen on consoles. It even looks better than Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 in my opinion. It's colorful, has great lighting and textures, and 60fps? That's what I call amazing.
The only thing Sony won was the "crap games competition". Seriously, Twisted Metal looked like crap. It looks like a PS2 game.
Killzone 3 looks really good, but I have to say that the demo of Rage running on the 360 looks even better. 60fps, baby!
Let's be honest, very, very few people thought Dante's Inferno was going to top GOW3. Maybe a few people thought it would, but the vast majority did not.
This looks far better than Dante's Inferno. Graphically and gameplay-wise it looks to be GOW3's equal.
It's not going to kill God of War, since GOW is a great series in its own right. But it does look just as good as God of War 3 and I love the setting and gameplay shown. The graphics look truly great.
It looks as good as God of War 3. And yes, it does look amazing. In fact, I like the setting and back story of Castlevania better than God of War. Kratos is hard to relate to for me. I can't wait for Lord of Shadows.

What's PS3 quality? I have a PS3 and a 360 and they seem pretty much the same to me. Most developers have also said the two consoles are essentially equal in power. In fact, there have even been some that said the 360 is more powerful.
All I know is that when I hear "PS3 quality" it doesn't really mean anything to me. Especially since I associate the 360 with better looking multiplatform games 95% of the time.

Huh? Graphics have always mattered to some extent, they just aren't the most important aspect of a game. Crysis 2 looks stunning and I think the gameplay looks great, but if by some chance the gameplay didn't turn out to be good then the fact that it has stunning graphics would not make it a good game.
I agree, now that I have seen a clearer video Crysis 2 looks better to me than Killzone 3. It is crisper and more realistic looking. Killzone 3 has a more stylized look to it, which I guess some are going to say looks better. But in terms of just what the graphics are doing and the detail I think Crysis 2 is the best I have seen on consoles so far.
I don't know. I'm a big 360 fan and while I did think it looks good I'm not sure it really surpasses the best on either console. I will have to see some more videos to get a better idea.
Really? Lair and Haze were awesome? Hardly. There are only about 7 PS3 exclusives that have scored 90 or better. I'm not saying that's bad, but quit exaggerating. There have been lots of PS3 exclusives that are less than awesome.
Well, the graphics were well above average. In fact, they were quite good. That said, I do think they have been way overhyped by certain fanboys. The lighting is the single biggest thing that made it stand out and look good.
Well, I wouldn't hold your breath. The last one looked better and ran better on the 360 and it won't surprise me in the slightest if that turns out to be the case this time around as well.
It looks pretty good to me. You have to consider how big and open the world is. It looks a lot better than Infamous did, as a comparison to another open world game.
Yeah and we do have both. Halo Reach looks amazing and it will also play amazingly well. All your hate for the 360 has completely and utterly blinded you.
